DRAP registration and distribution partnership in Pakistan.
EFBA is looking for a licensed Pakistani pharmaceutical importer and distributor to register the IVIXIR series of professional IV formulations with the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) and, once registered, distribute them. IVIXIR products do not currently hold a DRAP registration; registration in Pakistan runs through a licensed importer. This page explains how we work with partners.
- GMP-certified manufacturing
- Technical documentation prepared by EFBA for the importer's Form 5-F dossier
- CoA, GMP and stability documentation on request
Who we are looking for
Licensed pharmaceutical importers
Importers holding a valid Drug Sale Licence in Pakistan, able to enter into an authorisation agreement with EFBA as manufacturer and to file a Form 5-F registration dossier with the DRAP Registration Board.
Pharmaceutical distributors
Distribution companies with established links to hospitals, pharmacies and clinics in Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad and beyond, able to hold the licences themselves or to work with a licensed importer, and to distribute once the product is registered.
Pharmacy and clinic groups
Groups operating several pharmacies, clinics or medical centres that can introduce us to the licensed importers or distributors they already work with.
Registration: the role of the licensed importer
In Pakistan, human drugs are registered by the Registration Board of the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP), and a product cannot be imported, sold or promoted without a registration. For an imported finished product, the application is filed by a Pakistani importer that holds a valid Drug Sale Licence and an authorisation or sole agency agreement with the manufacturer. The dossier is submitted on Form 5-F in the Common Technical Document (CTD) format.
EFBA prepares the technical documentation for that dossier — composition, manufacturing, quality and stability data — and answers the partner's and the Board's technical questions. Requirements and timelines are set by DRAP; its stated processing time ranges from 3 to 18 months, depending on the dossier and the inspection route.
An abridged (reliance) pathway is not currently available for IVIXIR; registration follows the full Form 5-F dossier route.
Current status: IVIXIR products do not currently hold a DRAP registration. IVIXIR products are supplied in Pakistan only after DRAP registration through a licensed importer; samples are not offered via this website. Nothing on this website is an offer of sale, and the information is addressed to licensed businesses and healthcare professionals.
What EFBA provides to partners
- Manufacturing. GMP-certified manufacturing with batch traceability.
- Documentation. Certificate of analysis per batch, GMP certificate and stability data, available to qualified partners on request (usually under a confidentiality agreement).
- Registration support. Technical documentation for the importer's Form 5-F submission and responses to technical queries, prepared by EFBA.
- Cold chain. Storage and transport conditions defined for each product and included in the documentation.
- Commercial terms. Territorial exclusivity can be discussed. Commercial terms and minimum order quantities are provided in writing to approved partners only.

Partner FAQ
Who are you looking for as a partner in Pakistan?
A licensed pharmaceutical importer or distributor in Pakistan that holds a Drug Sale Licence, can enter into an authorisation agreement with EFBA as manufacturer and can file the DRAP registration and, once registered, distribute the products — ideally with established links to hospitals, pharmacies and clinics in cities such as Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad.
Are IVIXIR products registered with DRAP?
No. IVIXIR products do not currently hold a DRAP registration. In Pakistan, an imported finished drug is registered through the DRAP Registration Board by a licensed local importer that holds a Drug Sale Licence and an authorisation agreement with the manufacturer. EFBA prepares the technical documentation and supports the partner through the submission.
How does DRAP registration work, and how long does it take?
The licensed importer applies to the DRAP Registration Board on Form 5-F, with the dossier in Common Technical Document (CTD) format. DRAP's stated processing time ranges from 3 to 18 months, depending on the dossier and the inspection route. An abridged (reliance) pathway is not currently available for IVIXIR; registration follows the full Form 5-F dossier route.
Can we have exclusivity for Pakistan?
Territorial exclusivity is open to discussion. It is usually linked to registration responsibility in that market and to agreed volumes.
What documentation can you provide?
A certificate of analysis per batch, the GMP certificate and stability data. They are available to qualified partners on request, usually under a confidentiality agreement.
What are the commercial terms and minimum order quantities?
Commercial terms are not published. They are provided in writing through the enquiry or quote request form, and minimum order quantities are shared with approved partners after the qualification call.
Is there halal certification?
We make no halal claim on this website. Information on ingredient origin can be provided to a licensed partner on request.
Can I receive samples, and how are products supplied?
IVIXIR products are supplied in Pakistan only after DRAP registration through a licensed importer; samples are not offered via this website. Evaluation starts with documentation, and storage and transport conditions for each product are defined in the product documentation.
This page describes partnership terms for licensed businesses. It is not an offer to the public and makes no claim about the use or effect of any product. IVIXIR products do not currently hold a DRAP registration.
